2013 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop Reissue, limited edition.

This is a beautiful looking and very nice-playing Deluxe. It was previously set up with Historic-spec plastics including a standard output jack, pickguard, etc., Gibson P90s, bell knobs, an ABR-1, lightweight tailpiece, etc. It has been reverted back to stock for the sale.

Guitar is in very clean condition except for a flaw on the back of the headstock and some very minor usage wear (see below and photos for more detail). There is a minor cosmetic imperfection on the headstock where a small chip occured in the corner. The wood was reglued.

There are some faint swirl mark/scratches on the back that couldn’t be captured, the headstock, the pickguard hole is slightly off (due to mounting a Historic pickguard), and the two holes at the output jack. There is a tiny dark spot the size of a pen tip on the top that is under the finish. It came from the factory this way.When the P90s were installed, two small mounting holes were drilled in the center of the pickup cavities. The metal baseplates are already threaded for P90 machine screws from the Gibson factory so you can just use standard Gibson pickup machine screws and mount P90s right back in it. The good news is, if you want to switch back to a 1956 setup, the guitar is already set up for an easy swap!

The last photo shows what the guitar can look like with Historic plastics and P90s. This is not what you will receive.

Beautiful caramel-colored back with very nice wood grain on the back and sides. No actual worming or gouges. Guitar has barely been played and is still very clean overall. Neck, fretboard, etc. are pristine.

Very clean, crisp and bright. The mini humbuckers sound fantastic! This is not a muddy guitar. It’s lightweight, pretty darn resonant and covers a wide range of tones very effectively.

Guitar has all original nickel hardware, save for the ABR-1 bridge. It was installed with nickel Nashville adapter studs and is a wired ABR-1 bridge in nickel.

Original Nashville bridge included, but not the studs. These are very inexpensive to replace if you decide you want to go back to the Nashville setup.

All-original, stock Gibson electronics and parts.

This guitar sounds great, cuts well, is very bright and clear compared to standard humbuckers. Neck is closer to late ’50s profile than to full-on slim ’60s, but not really all that thick.
